We noticed a couple of boards for rent on La Ropa at the “towel shack” for the Sotavento/Catalina. They were not set aside exclusively for the Sotavento guests but guests could reserve them.
There was also an area on the beach in front of the Villas Mexicana where they were renting hobi cats, boogie boards and I saw a windsurfing board there too.
